Daryl Chansuthus, Executive Director of WRAP, and her team provided an entertaining night at the Carl Perkins Civic Center, where their largest fundraiser was held. The entertainment was provided by Mike Walker & Friends, whose theme of “The Sounds of Jackson” moved the audience. Smooth Jazz Progression was an accompanying music group that enhanced the night.

Walker is a hometown Jackson guy who enjoys helping the needy cause like WRAP. This project works and supports individuals in our 16-county region. Chansuthus said, “They hope to raise more funds than last year as costs and needs of abused women does not take a day off.” At the completion of this event the planning stages began for next year’s program and entertainment.
