Runway for a Cure

The 23rd annual Runway for a Cure was held on October 3 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. It was an evening filled with beautiful clothing, great food, strong survivors and community members gathering to raise funds and awareness to the American Cancer Society.
Models representing local boutiques strutted confidently down the runway wearing pieces ranging from beautiful and unique pashminas courtesy of Lazy Suzy Boutique to fabulous fall frocks from Meri’s in Alamo. The evening even concluded with a special four-legged runway romp with Antonia’s Paw Spa before the coveted Best In Show award was announced and Hattie’s came to the stage to happily accept the title.
Runway for A Cure 2017 was a success in every way, and plans are already underway for next year’s event. For more information about Runway for a Cure, please call (731) 512-5008.
