Breakfast for Babies
Story & Photography by Woody Woodard
The tenth annual March of Dimes Breakfast for Babies, hosted by Commercial Bank and Trust, was held at the Bakers Rack in downtown Jackson on April 7. Celebrity guest servers included local officials and politicians, university and bank presidents, television hosts, photographers and many others — all there to give of their time for the benefit of babies.
Baby Sarah Cannon was present to represent the work of the March of Dimes.
Elaine West, owner of the Bakers Rack, is the annual host. She and her staff prepared the breakfast of bicuits and gravy, bacon and sausage, eggs, and fruit to start everyone’s morning.
The March of Dimes fights premature birth, which affects approximately 15 million babies worldwide annually. To learn more about the March of Dimes, visit www.marchofdimes.org or follow them on Facebook.
