Lights Camera Fashion 2018

Lights, Camera, Fashion has entered its 7th year from its humble beginning at Jackson State College as a prom runway event to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. It is now held at the Carl Perkins Civic Center with models from area high schools. Jenna Hamilton King is the owner of My Best Friend Jenna boutique, and she is the producer of Lights, Camera, Fashion. Family and friends also assist in this endeavor.
There were 40 girls participating in this year’s event.Each sells tickets to the event as their fundraising contribution. Last year a total of $41,292 was raised for the hospital. Supporting sponsors of this event were King Tire Company, Madison Downs Premier Venue, Robert’s Jewelers and Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store.
Top Model Award went to Hanah Walker from Fayette Academy, Most Photogenic was Rachel Davis from USJ, and the Crowd Favorite was Katie Converse from Jackson Christian. This year’s donation check will be delivered February 19th to St. Jude.
