The New Southern in Downtown Jackson was full of extra sparkle and shine as Habitat for Humanity held its first Dream Builders Gala on New Year’s Eve. Window World and WBBJ were the title sponsors of the event, which included dinner, music and a champagne toast to ring in 2019. Couples danced to the music of the Jimmy Church Band as they enjoyed their last night out of the year.

Attendees of the Dream Builders Gala were not only treated to a special night of celebration and fun, but they also began the new year by giving to a great cause — Jackson’s Habitat for Humanity. Since its beginning in 1986, Habitat for Humanity has been fighting against poverty and seeking to change Jackson one home and family at a time. They have built 102 homes in the area for families in need and plan to complete their 103rd home this spring.
