Brew-Wing, sponsored by Hub City Brewing and Tyson Chicken, was held on Saturday, November 6. The event benefited the Scarlet Rope Project and featured a wing competition, cornhole and bowling tournaments, and live music by TN Jet. Wing teams brought their favorite spices, sauces and wing-firing grills to face off in the wing competition. This year the title of SRP Wing King went to the Top Gun Grill Team.

The Scarlet Rope Project exists to provide a safe place of healing and restoration to survivors of sex trafficking. They provide food, shelter, clothing, medical and mental health care as part of a holistic plan of care for the survivors. They strive to be a resource to victims seeking help and to raise awareness about sex trafficking. They want people to understand that trafficking happens everywhere, not just in larger cities or other countries.
