Blue Suede Dinner & Auction
Story by Chelsea-Catherine, Croom Photography by Kimberly Kimble Butler
The 28th Annual Blue Suede Dinner and Auction was hosted on Saturday, Feb. 26, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson. This year’s concert featured The World Turning Band, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, and everyone showed up in their best 1970s and 1980s attire and enjoyed some great music!
Along with music, guests participated in both live and silent auctions. As always, all money collected at the event will go toward all 20 Carl Perkins Centers and over 38,000 individual children that the organization has served over the last year.
The goal of the Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse is to continue saving lives, stopping child abuse, and giving them hope for a better future.
