The 2016 “Toast of Jackson,” held at Jackson Fairgrounds Park, was a resounding success with a steady stream of people attending. The wine vendors were overwhelmed with the attendance. Numerous merchants provided additional venues for the visitors.
Bodie Gentry, a winner in the spring art show of the Jackson Art Association, had a large display of his wood carvings. Also, The Exchange Club was a great source for food to complement the wine tasting. This event is an excellent opportunity for the many local wineries to showcase their products and bring business to Jackson.
