Lathan Warlick Concert

Jackson native and musician Lathan Warlick returned to the Hub City to perform a free concert at the Carl Perkins Civic Center on July 5. The high-energy event featured performances by Lathan and his band, along with opening acts Arctic and Johnny Day. The special evening was hosted by Jackson Hidden Tracks, Visit Jackson, and the City of Jackson in collaboration with Warlick.

The concert also saw an appearance from Jackson Mayor Scott Conger, who presented a proclamation to Lathan and the crowd declaring July 5th “Lathan Warlick Day.” 

Lathan Warlick is a Christian rap, hip hop, and country music artist who rose to fame for his innovative genre-bending songs. His songs are centered heavily around his faith, and his goal is to spread the message “God, Love, Unity” through his platform.
