The Jackson Fairgrounds was illuminated with blue on Saturday night, January 11 in honor of the 3rd Annual Law Enforcement Ball hosted by 731 Crime Stoppers. Members and supporters of local law enforcement got dressed up in their formalwear and enjoyed a special night out to benefit Crime Stoppers. Guests of the ball enjoyed an evening of food, entertainment and dancing, and they had the opportunity to applaud some outstanding members of law enforcement and the community who received special awards for their hard work.

Tawnya Moore was given the Director’s Award; Lieutenant Justin Harris received the Supervisor of the Year award; Investigator Scott Cornelison was named Narcotics Officer of the Year; Deputies Justin Gross and Hunter Marbrey received the Deputy of the Year award; Officer Bobby Locke was named Officer of the Year; and FBI Special Agent Scott Lawson received the Top Cop award. 731 Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping law enforcement solve cases. Proceeds from the Law Enforcement Ball will go to pay rewards for anonymous tips they receive which lead to arrests and convictions.
