On Saturday, April 20 the 7th annual Crawfest benefitting Scarlet Rope Project was held at Hub City Brewing in downtown Jackson from 3 - 6 pm. Attendees at the packed event enjoyed amazing crawfish, shrimp, and sides along with great drinks and mingling. The 2024 Crawfest, presented by Town and Country Realtors, was the largest ever, selling over 900 tickets. The day was filled with delicious food, fun, and a great atmosphere. The Scarlet Rope staff, board of directors, and all of the volunteers did an outstanding job. All of the proceeds from this event go directly to support Scarlet Rope Project, a nonprofit organization to “provide a safe space for healing and restoration for survivors of human trafficking.” For more information and to stay up to date on upcoming events follow their Facebook page.
