The 2016 Leadership Jackson scholarship presentation was held at the JEA Training Center. High school student award winners and their families came to receive the $1,000 scholarship award for the college of their choice. These students were chosen from a group of 40 applications that had been received. Narrowing down this large group to five was a monumental task for the committee. This Leadership Scholarship Award has only been in existence for several years.

This project came about under the leadership of Judy Renshaw, for whom the award is appropriately named for her 40 years of leadership and service. Judy recently retired from her Chamber Vice President position, but you would not know it as she still gives back to the community and the Chamber.
