The Charity Gala

On November 11 the Community Foundation of West Tennessee held their 32nd Charity Gala at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. The vibe of the evening was A Modern Black and White Affair. The gala committee, volunteers, and Community Foundation staff did a phenomenal job coordinating this large-scale, spectacular event. The hallway entrance was converted into a gallery with floating, lighted, modern string art displays. Inside the ballroom, the grand space was made intimate with tall, custom lamps on tables. White monstera leaves reached toward the ceiling on some tables and a masterful serpentine chandelier stretched from the front of the room to the rear. Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner prepared by Jackson’s Kitchen & Catering, and entertainment by Caleb Minter and the Structure Band. Hundreds of supporters came together to celebrate the Community Foundation and all that it does in West Tennessee. Additionally, several individuals in our community were honored with the Jackson Awards, the Dr. A. Barnett Scott Service Award, and the Tigrett Award.
Since 1985, the Community Foundation has strived to make our community better. They fund community projects and initiatives that truly impact West Tennessee. All the proceeds from The Charity Gala go back into the community to help with critical needs.
