The Jackson Symphony League Crystal Ball was held at the Carl Perkins Civic Center on the 25th of January. The featured band was “One Man Band” from Nashville. There was an extensive silent auction, and during dinner there was a live auction featuring a diamond necklace and a 7-day stay in a coastal resort in Mexico.
Steve Bowers was the auctioneer, and they raised an estimated $5,000 excluding the silent auction! J. Kent Freeman Florist had decorated exquisite and elegant tables. When the evening moved to the dancing, it was exciting to see the dance floor totally full of people dancing. The band had great musicians and three excellent singers who never stopped singing high-energy music for the guests. Many people commented on what a great night it was to have fun and dance with friends.
