It may have been the opposite of summer outside, but everyone came in their beach attire for the “Night in the Caribbean“ fundraiser for the Dream Center. The featured event was “Jefferson Starship,” which was formed in the early 70s from members of Jefferson Airplane. Paul Kantner and David Freiberg were founding members and drummer Donny Baldwin has been a member since 1986.
The opening act, made up of Steve Short, Julie Daniels & Scott Myatt, provided outstanding music during dinner and prior to the charity silent and stage auction. The girls who spoke of their journey at the Dream Center were not shy about the reality of being broken and being led out of the darkness to their new world of hope and spiritual growth through the guidance of Gail Gustafson and her superb staff of counselors.
