The Jackson-Madison County Library Foundation held its 8th Annual Books of Madison County on August 21 at the Jackson Fairgrounds. Many community members came out to support the library at the event that has grown consistently.
Attendees enjoyed a catered dinner, entertainment and a silent auction. The event’s keynote speaker was Dr. Niles Reddick, Vice Provost of the University of Memphis Lambuth and notable author, with the theme “A Night of Southern Humor”.
The Library Foundation is dedicated to raising funds for the long-term development of the library as it continues to evolve to meet the needs of our community. Funds raised at this event will be used to make improvements in library programming and equipment.
