The Jackson Chamber’s Annual Celebration

The 2018 Chamber of Commerce Annual Celebration took place at the Carl Grant Center on Union University Campus. The entry hall was decorated to welcome guests and get them in the right state of mind. Kyle Spurgeon and Ryan Porter have worked hard to bring new growth and development to the face of the Chamber.
Approximately 400 of the 1,200 members were in attendance for this stellar event. The following list consists of businesses which are being recognized for their outstanding work this past year: 2017 Emerging Business of the year: Adelsberger Marketing; 2017 Business of the Year 1-49 Employees: Master Medical Equipment; 2017 Business of the Year 50+ Employees: S.M. Lawrence; 2017 Industry of the Year: Toyota Bodine Aluminum; 2017 Non-Profit of the Year: Jackson Symphony; 2017 West Tennessee Healthcare Health & Wellness Award: Delta Faucet Company; and 2017 Volunteer of the Year: Amanda Davenport.
The theme for this year was Las Vegas with an Elvis impersonator, a unique performance by Dr. Dub Oliver, the current Union President. Additionally Dr. Logan Hampton, the President of Lane College, and the Chamber staff karaoke singers rounded out the day’s event.
