What made you fall in love with the house?
Jenna King: Our brother-in-law, Clay Goodrich with Town and Country, found the spacious three-story home with pool built in 2003 and after a walk through we decided it would be just right for us. We loved everything about the neighborhood and its convenient location to town and the Jackson Country Club. And since golfing is one of Christopher’s favorite hobbies, the location has been wonderful!
Who were the main vendors who were used to decorate the house?
JK: My mom, Clarenita Hamilton, and I began to brainstorm and gather ideas for a makeover/remodel. We called on my sister-in-law, Erica King, for her artistic input. We wanted to achieve a comfortable, liveable space we could enjoy every day, but also be perfect for gathering friends together. Many of the unique furniture items were purchased by Erica King Interiors, and then a little from here, there, and everywhere!
What are some specific personal touches that you used?
JK: One of our favorite pieces in the house is the custom oil painting given to us as a wedding gift from my parents.
What is your favorite room and why?
JK: We would agree that the dining room is our favorite room in the house. My favorite piece of furniture is in this room. It is a wooden slab table with turquoise inlay. Christopher loves to prepare dinner and entertain friends and family at this table.
