The Jackson-Madison County Library Foundation is dedicated to the growth and advancement of the library. Funding goes to library improvements and services. Twenty dedicated women are the guiding force behind the Library Foundation. Each year talented writers have visited Jackson through the efforts of these ladies.
The keynote speaker was Bill Haltom, a native of West Tennessee. He is a Memphis attorney who has authored 7 books including a book on Pat Summit and a book entitled “Milk and Sugar: The Complete Book of Seersucker.”
“This year our library fundraiser, held at the Jackson Fairgrounds, attracted our largest crowd,” said Elaine Christian, Library Board of Trustees Chair and Foundation board member.
