First Ladies' Luncheon

United Way of West Tennessee hosted the 8th Annual First Ladies’ Luncheon at the Jackson Fairgrounds on Thursday, April 8. This event is a key fundraiser for United Way of West Tennessee (UWWT) that showcases the work of women in our local community. It was a lovely spring day for this outdoor event, and the pavilion at the Fairgrounds was full of beautifully decorated tablescapes with unique themes chosen and executed by the sponsor of each table. Guests enjoyed a lunch catered by Gourmet Your Way, and the keynote speaker was Tennessee Education Commissioner Penny Schwinn.
United Way of West Tennessee works across 14 counties striving to make sure that every person has access to the resources they need for healthy lives, high quality education, and financially stable homes. To meet this goal, United Way partners with 75 local agencies who do important work fighting for these rights.
