Dream Center of Jackson invited the community to join them at a Groundbreaking Ceremony on Friday morning, July 8. Local supporters of the organization have been anticipating this day since 2016 when the Dream Center lost its original building. It was a joyous occasion to break ground on the new facility, which will be a place of healing for women and children for years to come. Executive Director Gail Gustafson expressed her gratitude to the Lord for so much support in the community.
The Dream Center of Jackson seeks to help women break the cycle of homelessness by teaching them to become financially strong, emotionally balanced, and self-sufficient. The new building will stand on 11 acres of land donated by the Northside Assembly of God Church. The first phase of the building project will include 12 resident rooms, a small kitchen and dining area, and administrative offices. Eventually, the Dream Center plans to add another wing and an expanded fellowship area. Visit dreamcenterjackson.com for more information.
