The Jackson Symphony held the 20th annual Crystal Ball Saturday evening, January 29 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in downtown Jackson. If you’ve ever been to one of the Symphony performances, you know how wonderful the organization is for our community! The beautiful music and entertainment they provide are truly one of the best events in the Hub City. The event is important because not only does it support the Symphony, but also because it brings arts to our community and into the schools.
Attendees enjoyed a delicious dinner, a silent auction, and delightful entertainment. In addition to all of the other important contributions to the region, the Jackson Symphony plays therapeutic music for patients in local hospitals, treats members of the Boys and Girls Club to performances, and allows students to watch as they prepare for a show. The 2022 Crystal Ball featured The Downtown Band back by popular demand, and it was catered by the Old Country Store. It the Symphony’s largest fundraiser of the year.
