American Heart Association's Feast in the Field

The West Tennessee American Heart Association held its third annual “Feast In the Field” in the Delta Room at Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store on October 16. The event, usually taking place in the Farm at Casey Jones Village, was moved indoors due to inclement weather.

West Tennessee area donors and volunteers joined the AHA staff for heart-healthy food, live music and an inspirational message from the American Heart Association. The organization awarded more than $14,000 of internal funds back into the West Tennessee area in support of CPR education. Those funds will go toward purchasing 378 “Infant CPR Anytime Kits” to Tennova Healthcare and Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
