ARM's Salt & Light Banquet

Area Relief Ministries held their annual Salt and Light Banquet the evening of Thursday, September 12 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. The organization celebrated their 42nd anniversary with special guests Country Music Legends Shenandoah. The group was celebrating their 30th anniversary and sang their grammy winning hits as well as a special tribute to Merle Haggard.

The banquet serves as ARM’s largest fundraiser and helps make the services they provide to the community possible.

The mission of Area Relief is to “strengthen our community by providing services that alleviate suffering, promote dignity and foster hope for those in need” and they do it all “as an expression of the ongoing ministry of Jesus Christ”.
